Change default for due back items

I need to change our due back default of 1 day to 5 days is there a simple way to accomplish this?  Our current due back is set to 3 which equates to 1 day.  Also if I change the default duration will it cause any problems with the current system?

Please refer to chapter 6 page 104 in the Check In Out manual for instructions on adding item # detail for check out items. On this form you can set the check out by value to hours days weeks or months and set the quantity value as well. Hope this helps!
