Import/Export Fields for setting up my Customers

We are setting up the data and want to import data from an old system but not sure of the fields and order to setup the .txt file. Does any body know about this? Also what are the correct steps to do this?

You may find all the information you need about importing data in the Check In/Out user manual.  There is a shortcut on your start menu to access it.  The import/export information can be found in  chapter 11.

The information in Chapter 11 has nothing to do with Customers! This is a very vague explanation of importing Inventory. Any other suggestions?

With the standard import function (using the access runtime), you cannot import customer data. You may only import item data. All of the information in Chapter 11 pertains to importing item data.
