Updating from CIO 5.2 and older to version 7

Hello,

I'm new to Intellitrack. I want to know if there is some sort of manual that would help me in upgrading CIO 5.2 or older to version 7.

Hello, at the Product Documentation page, go to the Quick Start Guide links found along the left side of the page under the Documentation heading. From the Quick Start Guides v7 heading, select All DMS Applications. (The Quick Start Guide file is in PDF format, so you need to have Adobe Acrobat Reader to download it or open it.) The Quick Start Guide contains a table that goes over the data upgrade process by previous version it is Table 1: DMS v7 Software Data Upgrade Process by Previous Version found on page 8. This table covers the data file upgrade process for Check In-Out v4.x and up.

(If you are running IntelliTrack Check In-Out v5.2 SQL, the data is automatically upgraded during the v7 installation. Before you install v7, we recommend backing up your data. The v5.2 application contains a backup utility in the Program folder for backing up your data file. SQL Server also provides for data file backup.)
