All you must do is modify the shortcut you use to launch the application as seen below (this example is based off of the Stockroom application).

Original: "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICE11\runaccess.exe" /runtime /profile "Stockroom" /wrkgrp "C:\ITSTOCK5\SYSTEM.MDW" "C:\ITSTOCK5\ITSTOCK5.MDB"

Modified: "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICE11\msaccess.exe" /profile "Stockroom" /wrkgrp "C:\ITSTOCK5\SYSTEM.MDW" "C:\ITSTOCK5\ITSTOCK5.MDB"

FAQ / IntelliTrack has detected corruption in this file ... Error
« Last post by Bradp on November 12, 2007, 02:35:11 pm »
This is the result of the front end database becoming corrupt. Normal causes of corruption are incorrect or unscheduled shutdowns while the IntelliTrack application is open. The good news is that because it is only the front end that is corrupt, you will not lose any data :)

Please reinstall the 'Workstation' portion of the IntelliTrack software from the original installation CD to resolve this issue. Similarly if you have custom modifications to your application, you may reinstall the modification setup file delivered to you to resolve this issue as well. After launching the application after re-installation, please go to Tools > Local Site Settings and choose your correct Default Site.

FAQ / Data Won't Sync w/Active Sync 4.2+ and DMS 5.2/ISRP 6.2
« Last post by danb on October 26, 2007, 11:05:57 am »
First Make sure you have the latest version of Microsoft Active Sync http://www.microsoft.com
4.2 or higher.

Once Active Sync is installed, plug your handheld device into your cradle and finish the Syncronization setting for Active Sync. These settings do not matter for our application to work.

When the Sync is done, with Active Sync open on your Desktop computer, goto File>Connection Settings and under the setting that says, 'This computer is connected to', change that to say Work Network. Click on OK, and close the app, it will minimize back down next to your time.

Next, make sure you have *IIS installed on your computer. This is how the handheld will communicate to you SQL server. If you are unsure how to install IIS, refer to the Microsoft Website or your IT person for help.

IIS and Active Sync need to be installed before your install our application. If they are, our software will configure everything for you automatically and set up IIS for you so that your data transfers will occur without issues.

If you find you have followed these steps and are still getting the same error, check your Hot Sync URL settings to ensure everything is setup properly.
1) Open our application.

If you are running one of our DMS applications (Check In/Out, Fixed Assets, Inventory or Stockroom)
 A) Goto Portable>Syncronize CE Device. Click on 'Preferences' tab.
 B) In the left window, click ok Upload Processing, and then back in the right window, copy and paste the contents of the Sync URL Box into Internet Explorer and hit Go. You should see a web page that says, 'Microsoft SQL Server CE Agent'. If you do not see this page, refer to the manual for addition configuration settings.

If you are runing ISRP
 A) Goto Portable>Portable Application
 B) Goto Tools>Options. On the second Tab, Copy and paste the contents the Sync URL box into Internet Explorer and hit Go. You should see a web page that says, 'Microsoft SQL Server CE Agent'. If you do not see this page, refer to the manual for addition configuration settings.

2) In you see the proper web page, then you need to type the same address into Internet Explorer on your handheld device and hit go, while it is in the cradle. If you get the same web page as you got on your desktop computer, you should be able to send your data down to the handheld now. If you do not, follow the steps below.

If you are using a PocketPC Based Device (The start button is in the upper left hand corner of the screen)
 A) Click Start>Settings and click on the Connections Tab
 B) Click on the Connections Icon
 C) Click on the Advanced Tab, on the bottom
 D) Click on 'Select Networks' and make sure both of them say 'My Work Network'
 E) Click on ok, till you get back to the Start screen, and then try to resend your data down to the handheld

If you are using a Windows CE Device (The start button is in the bottom left hand corner of the screen)
There are no additional setting that need to be made. Try to transfer your data again.

If none of these setting work, call Technical Support

* If you are installing our software other than a local install (everything on one machine), you will need to refer to to the manual for detailed instruction, and other configuration options.
* In order for IIS to work properly, you will need to have either internet access to that machine, or be connected to a Router that can give your computer a valid IP address. Loop backs, hubs, and other devices that just wake the LAN card are not enough.

Q: How come I can't add any new sites and locations? The option is greyed out.

A: You need to make sure you can view and motify all sites. To do this, open the application, and goto Tools>Local Site Settings
There you will need to select 'View and Modify All Sites'. You can also set your default site in the drop box in the same window. Click the door Icon to accept the change.

You can now add sites and locations.

FAQ / The profile ' *** ' that you specified on the command line doesn't exist ...
« Last post by Bradp on July 06, 2007, 01:49:40 pm »
This normally happens due to a permissions issue duing installation. The below registry entry will resolve the issue:

For MS Access 2002 (XP):
ftp://ftp.intellitrack.net/PUBLIC/TECH/Registry/Office%202002%20Profile%20Registry%20Entries.reg

MS Access 2003:
ftp://ftp.intellitrack.net/PUBLIC/TECH/Registry/Office%202003%20Profile%20Registry%20Entries.reg

FAQ / MS Access gives security warnings when I open my IntelliTrack application
« Last post by Bradp on July 06, 2007, 01:46:10 pm »
This is just an inherent setting in MS Access, it is a macro security level setting of medium and to bypass the errors it must be set to low. You can download a registry entry to lower the security setting and bypass the errors here:

For MS Access 2002 (XP):
ftp://ftp.intellitrack.net/PUBLIC/TECH/Registry/Office%202002%20Access%20Security.reg

For MS Access 2003:
ftp://ftp.intellitrack.net/PUBLIC/TECH/Registry/Office%202003%20Access%20Security.reg
