Title: Labels
Post by: itadmin on February 23, 2006, 11:14:58 am
I am unable to get my labels to print correctly, the printer skips a label and spits out blanks, and sometimes my bar codes are off the label all together.

The main setting to watch out for is the margins on the bar code label report.  These should be set to 0 or as close to 0 as possible. Here?s how.
First insure your printer is properly installed and that the correct printer settings for your label size are being used.  (Consult your Reseller or Printer manufacturer for details.) Next insure the barcode height you are using and label size you are choosing within Intellitrack are appropriate for the labels you are printing on. Preview the bar code label for a single Item, or a single location.  In this print preview you want to see a single page. If you have multiple pages (look at the bottom of the preview screen and see if you have forward/backward black arrows) then change your margin settings.  Go to the File>Page Setup in the top left menu while previewing your label.  Change all the margins to 0 (your printer driver might automatically re-adjust the values to a decimal value after you edit, but that?s okay).  Preview your label again after adjusting these settings and your label should be correctly sized for a single page per value being printed.
