Sum extended cost

I modified the Inventory Cost Summary Report to include the cost of the Items then added an extended cost field which just multiplies the QTY times the Unit Cost. Now I need to Sum the extended cost, but because the extended cost is a calculated field I am having a problem getting a result. Can anyone help with this. BTW the extended cost is calculated on the report itself.

If you right-click on the Extended textbox you can select Total -> Sum on the popup menu, which will create a sum of those values in the group footers.
