Computer Crash
« on: January 11, 2011, 05:59:03 pm »
I have Stockroom v. 5.2. The PC we were running it on crashed and I moved the drive to another computer that is the same model PC. The computer is running fine, but when I go to start Intellitrack, it gives me the demo mode and asks to activate the software. I chose the 2nd option to activate it on the current computer. I get to the point to enter my account name and password and hit next. I receive a web services error and registration does not complete. When I had to do this on my previous computer, it worked fine. I can get a new motherboard for the old computer to get it working, but if I put the old drive back in it, will I get the same results when registering? When I moved to the other computer, a new device number came up. Do I need to contact support? What if my support agreement is not current? Will I still get help?

You can ask for support. They will try to answer your questions whether your support agreement is current or not.. perhaps you will have to pay extra fee for extra service out of the agreement.
