Menu Issues/Functionality
« on: November 01, 2007, 04:22:08 pm »
Afternoon, we've recently gotten an implementation of Stockroom configured for a warehousing project and upon completion of the inventory and other tables in the database, some of the functionality of the application itself doesn't work.  I was curious if there was one thing that may cause all of the issues listed here:

1)  Item#/Data
-Problem with the Item#, The form will reset after the data is shown.  For instance, I can pull up information on an item in the database and it does display that information, but then it pops up a message saying the information must be complete.  I click OK and the text box where I entered the item number goes back to blank.  It's not necessarily an error message as much as it is an inconvenience.

2)  Move Item#
-The Item list will not populate, text will enter and will not yield any results even though I know for a fact a matching item number is in the database.  That box does not populate or match anything in the database.

3)  Mass Move
-Data all shows when I enter it in the boxes, it all seems to line up and look great.  Upon running an execution, it gives the following message:  "ODBC Call Failed:  History From"

4)  View Inventory
-When we click this option, the entire screen goes blank and I have to click the "Show" and then "Intellitrack" link from a toolbar at the top.  It just takes us back to the main menu again.

Other than that, just having some connectivity issues with the gun.

Can anybody tell me a few things to try to fix this?

Thanks!

Hello,

It sounds like you are injecting data into the back-end database, is this correct?

Thanks!

I've been doing imports directly into SQL Management Studio, yes.  I bypassed the imports via Intellitrack.

Thanks,

That would be the problem. In directly injecting the table you have skipped the data integrity that is kept when data is inputed/imported normally using the applications UI. You will need to purge the database and input or import the data properly. Instructions for both can be found in the e-manual. If you've deleted your e-manual, you may download a new one at:
